The Conference this year will be held at the Novotel in Leicester.

We are delighted to announce the following guest speakers:

Clem and Margaret Turner

Clem & Margaret Turner have run their successful Therapy Practice in Nottinghamshire for the last 18 years.  They can see clients on a one-to-one basis, either face-to-face or via Zoom.

Over the years, they have helped clients with many different issues and problems, including Anxiety, Depression, P.T.S.D., Weight Management, I.B.S., Pain Management and working with children.  The techniques they use to help their clients include Hypnotherapy Emotional Freedom Technique (E.F.T.) Neuro-Linguistic Programming (N.L.P.), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (E.M.D.R.)

In addition, Clem and Margaret Turner regularly run C.P.D. training courses and workshops for qualified hypnotherapists.  These are designed to give the delegates added knowledge of our treatment programmes and advanced skills they can use with their clients

Clem is also an accredited supervisor for qualified Hypnotherapists

During our time at the Conference, we will be discussing hypnotherapy and other working treatments we use to help our clients.

Alicia is the owner of Social Media Management Agency, Gemini Creative Marketing. She has worked in Social Media for 4 years.

At the end of 2020, Alicia decided to start up her own agency. She now has her own blooming agency, nearly 2 years later, with clients from many industries. Alicia lives and breathes Social Media, and with this in mind, has an exceptional understanding of what makes a business’s social media account work, and work well!

Kirstie is an AfN registered Nutritionist with a PhD and a BSc in Public Health Nutrition from QMU Edinburgh. Having then completed a further 3 years of study at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION), she is also a BANT and CNHC registered Nutritional Therapist, working predominantly with children, adolescents, and young adults. Her main area of interest clinically is brain health, and in particular, the emerging field of nutritional psychiatry. She also has a specialist interest in Parkinson’s disease.

In addition to her clinical work, Kirstie has over 20 years of experience in developing and delivering a wide range of nutrition and lifestyle interventions, both in the UK and internationally, and has also held educational, research-focused, and advisory roles. She is the lead for Public Health Nutrition at Real World Health (www.realworldhealth.net)

In her academic capacity, Kirstie is the Module Coordinator for the Functional Nutrition, Gastrointestinal health and Detoxification, and Immune Health modules on the UK’s first Graduate Diploma in Integrative Nutritional Therapy. She is also a member of the Editorial Board for the Nutritional Medicine Institute and Journal (www.nmi.health).

Kirstie is delighted to be delivering a session for us on the brain/gut axis and it’s role in Integrative medicine.

Having graduated from University with a BSc degree in Sociology, my first position was in PR, representing several companies.

I joined a small telecom company to start my sales career and then began my career with Dalycom. I remained in this company for 21 years, working my way up from Sales Executive to Managing Director.

In 2016 I set up a consultancy running alongside Dalycom called The Turnaround CEO; The Turnaround CEO is a business consultancy and coaching business to help with succession and to coach to enable leaders with delegation, strategy and culture.

In 2019, I exited Dalycom to concentrate on The Turnaround CEO. Five years of trading as the Turnaround CEO, the business has grown into a thriving consultancy with year-on-year growth and I currently coach and consult 14 different companies, which stretch from Micro business owners through to larger SMEs

I am part of DeMontfort University, helping to grow the mentoring programme and supporting business owners through the scheme.

I currently am a Trustee board member for the charity Menphys, and I am a member of the DeMontfort University Business and Law Advisory Board.
