I became a Colon Hydrotherapist after having treatments myself to help ease IBS and wanting to make a difference to people’s lives who were also suffering.

I enjoyed every aspect of the training and the continued learning and knew it was something I truly wanted to do.

When I started practicing, I got so much satisfaction from every treatment I carried out and was being told regularly how I was making a difference and how their lives had changed.

It made me realise just how common these problems are and just how much it impacted people’s lives and this just made me want to do as much as I could.

Unfortunately, due to covid and lockdowns I was unable to continue and due to financial commitments, I had to find alternative employment.

For the last twelve months I have been working in a pharmacy and seeing the same people coming in regularly for medication for IBS, Constipation, Diarrhoea, digestive problems etc. The medication is being taken on a daily basis but doesn’t seem to be having any affect as they keep coming back for it.

I have found a lot of people lack education around their immune system and keeping their gut healthy and want to play a part in changing this.

I am now in a position where I can open my own small clinic and try to make a difference.

As it has been a while since I carried out a treatment, I am hoping to do a refresher course in the near future and also take part in a herbs and enema course and also a food intolerance and lab test.
