“No organ in the body is so misunderstood, so slandered and maltreated as the colon”.

Physician Sir Arthur Hurst, 1935

I am Jill Guiver, a fully qualified Colon Hydrotherapist trained at the Colon Hydrotherapy Academy in Woodhouse Mansfield.  It is my goal to improve the health and wellbeing of every client that walks through my door. In addition, I’m the practice manager at Arcturus Clinic in Totnes, so I’m very fortunate to have a wide range of practitioners at my disposal to refer clients to if I feel they need additional support outside of what I can provide.

Even with the best of intentions, few of us eat as healthily as we should or take enough exercise. We are constantly being exposed to toxins, electromagnetic fields and living stressful lives. Unfortunately, our bodies simply aren’t designed for this. Inevitably, this upsets the natural way our digestive system works leading to a range of negative effects on your health, such as diabetes, heart disease, allergies and digestive issues.

Colonic hydrotherapy works with your body, helping to return your digestive system to a more natural, healthy state. It is a natural restorative treatment that gives a systemic boost to the body.  The benefits all originate from removing stored waste and toxins from the large intestine and restoring gut flora. Colonic hydrotherapy gives many people a sensation of overall well-being and energy and it’s often the inspiration for a healthier diet and lifestyle all round. When you feel good on the inside it shows on the outside, bringing out your natural beauty.

During your treatment, you will be in a private room. You will fully maintain your personal dignity and I appreciate the sensitivity of the colonic procedure and will help you feel at ease.  Your emotions will be acknowledged and respected. After your colonic, I will discuss your aftercare, a treatment or maintenance plan moving forward, and answer any questions or concerns you may have.
